A distinctive week-long gathering to help esteemed faculty members shape the career direction from in and around Vadodara city
The LearnAtRISE team recently conducted a comprehensive Faculty Development Program from 10th to 14th June 2019 at Rishabh Software’s Vadodara Campus. The central objective of this program was to help the faculty members to enhance their knowledge of modern practices across emerging technologies.
The workshop witnessed participation from 20 Faculties from 8 different universities/institutes across Gujarat, including Parul University, Marwadi University, CHARUSAT, Sigma Institute of Engineering, ADIT, SVIT, SVMIT, and DJMIT.
Faculty Development Program is an integral part of Industry-Academia initiative. Programs like these bring Industry and Academia closer for a better cause. Academicians often undergo such kind of sessions to enhance their current practice. The regular change in technology has affected not only the industry but also academia as a whole. The rate at which technologies are evolving in the industrial sector has created a whole new horizon of job opportunities. The drastic change in the industry has less or even at times, no impact on the curriculum of students.
The gathering had various enlightening sessions organized by the learned team at Rishabh Software. It was kicked off with an introductory talk by Mr. Pranab Mohapatra, Head-Delivery of Rishabh Software, followed by a keynote address from Mr. Umesh Shah on what to expect from the week-long FDP session and how it would potentially benefit the attendees.
Here is a roundup of the sessions covered as part of this FDP session;
The intensive knowledge focused modules were aimed at offering the faculty members with insights on the latest and current industry trends and requirements. It was to allow them to formulate their teaching pattern better that would help them to make the students industry-ready.
Ms. Falguni Ranadive, Senior Manager – Career Enhancement with LearnAtRISE, shared a brief on the best and pertinent practices with Rishabh Software’s Learn At RISE (LAR) initiative. The program was concluded with closing remarks, and feedback by Ms. Falguni and Mr. Balaji KS, Vice President – Human Resources, Rishabh Software.
We wish to thank all the participants for their time and dedication by being a part of this knowledge-centered initiative. With this, we certainly hope that learnings from this would help them to enhance their teaching methodology and stay updated with industry best practices. In case you wanted to be a part of it yet missed this great opportunity, don’t worry you can write to us at info@learnatrise to inquire about future FDP sessions, and even input on learnings from the conducted sessions.
